Grown just down the road
Much of our seasonal organic veg, herbs and fruit comes from our own farm, less than a mile from the shop. When it's ready, it can be picked and on the shelves within half an hour.
The farm is also home to Rocket Gardens, our organic plant business. We grow vegetable, herb and fruit plants for gardens across the UK — and you'll find a selection of our organic plug plants for sale here at the shop too.

Hoskens Veg & Flowers
Just a couple of miles from the shop, Chris Hosken grows a wonderful range of seasonal vegetables, which arrive with us throughout the year as they come into season.
Caroline Hosken grows beautiful seasonal flowers too — planted, picked and arranged by hand just down the road.

A wine selection we're proud of
Our wines are carefully chosen for us by Alex, who knows both wine and this little corner of Cornwall exceptionally well.
Alex grew up at the nearby Trengilly Wartha and has visited many of the vineyards and producers behind the wines she recommends. She knows what our customers enjoy and has put together a brilliant selection — from good everyday bottles to something a little more special.
And if you're not sure what to choose, just ask us — we're always happy to recommend a bottle.

Good food, from good farms
We're lucky to have some brilliant farms supplying us with meat, eggs and milk — all chosen for the way they're produced as well as how they taste.
Tresemple Farm supplies us with organic, ethically reared beef and lamb, produced here in Cornwall.
Penbugle Farm eggs come from hens reared on acres of organic pasture, with plenty of room to roam.
Wickett’s chicken is some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Free-range, slow-reared and properly cared for, it’s chicken with real flavour — you really can taste the difference.
And then there’s Trink Milk. Their cows are grass-fed and the milk is non-homogenised, with a rich, creamy taste. It's one of those things that, once you've tried it, is very hard to go back.
